Art Guard was set up by Nick Hartwright in 2018 to provide artists with affordable spaces to live and work in London, and to offer a solution for property owners who wish to see their vacant assets to have a positive social impact.

It negates any costs for the landlords who have empty buildings and ensures that artists can live affordably whilst developing work.

It currently operates two sites in London, Manor Place, a Victorian former school and baths in Elephant & Castle and a large townhouse in Earls Court that provides living space for over 20 tenants.
